IRIS launches new international motorsports division

Experienced leading industry expert Nigel Geach has joined IRIS as Director of Global Motorsport, to build a dedicated motorsport team to serve the growing need for tailored insights and customer service within the industry.

In line with the overall IRIS philosophy to focus on clients’ requirements and provide tailored rather than generic solutions, IRIS has set up a dedicated international motorsport division to bundle together all motorsport data and expertise across traditional linear TV, streams, social media, and consumer insights. As is the case for IRIS‘ successful business with diverse winter sport clients as well as many international federations, the focus will be on working with the clients to provide actionable solutions to their challenges and strategic approaches to their goals. This is achieved by allocating dedicated personal account managers, who work closely with each client to provide input and expertise to maximise the investment made in the data. The first of such projects is now underway, with a global research study across women in motorsport, which will combine market intelligence and social media data, fan insights and bespoke in depth executive interviews.

Nigel Geach will join IRIS from Nielsen Sports, after having worked in the motorsports industry for more than 35 years including Repucom and Sports Marketing Surveys.
